The fresh new 2022 Chevy Blazer will get some serious upgrades. This model comes with an more attractive face, making it arguably the most assertive-looking mid-size crossover in its class. On top of that, it sports a very spacious cabin that continues to be inspired by Chevy’s iconic muscle car, the Camaro.

It also comes with standard attractive 18-inch wheels, offering more smoother and quieter ride than the RS model that wore large 21-inches. In terms of technology, every Blazer comes standard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capability. In addition, this SUV also can be equipped with an eight-speaker Bose audio system, built-in navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless charging for phones.

Serious changes are happening under the hood of the new 2022 Chevy Blazer. Literary, the upcoming model will replace the previously standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder 193-hp engine with a turbo 2.0 four-cylinder. Technically, this engine now becomes the standard one. According to Chevy, the standard engine is capable of producing 228-hp thanks to a turbocharger.

Alongside this unit, the manufacturer also offers an optional 3.6-liter V-6. Unlike the first one, this produces a much better output of 308-hp. However, both models come with a nine-speed automatic transmission and either front or all-wheel drive. The four-cylinder from some testing is able to tow around 1500 pounds, while the V-6 version can handle up to 4500 pounds.

The manufacturer hasn’t yet revealed pricing for the newest 2022 Chevy Blazer, but they confirmed that it’d no longer offer a base L trim. So, we are expecting a 2LT to represent the entry-level model, while the 3LT is upper trim that should provide more features than before.

Interestingly, some popular websites listed the estimated price of an entry-level Chevy Blazer as $34,000. However, we’ll have to wait just a little more to found out how much each Blazer trim will cost. We are expecting a fresh new model to debut later in the year.
