The redesigned 2023 Buick Encore could be the last production model to arrive. According to many reports, the subcompact crossover might be discontinued in the United States and Canada at the end of 2023.
If you didn’t know, the current-generation Encore was introduced to the North American market in 2013, and it took many attentions. This small crossover is twinned with the Chevrolet Trax. However, almost ten years later, the manufacturer decided to give Encore one more chance to rise selling numbers. As far as we know, the forthcoming model will bring some improvements, including a refreshed look, more comfort inside, and plenty of standard equipment. On top of that, the manufacturer also offers a slightly larger variant called Encore GX.
2023 Buick Encore Redesign
The exterior of the 2023 Buick Encore will be refreshed, and we can expect more eye-catcher styling. This compact crossover is 14 feet long, and it takes up less space than most of its rivals. Basically, you can easily grab those parking spaces that aren’t feasible for bigger vehicles.
For the 2023-year model, the manufacturer will make some revisions, especially on the front end. From what we heard, Buick will put a fresh new grille and a much tinner LED headlights. We also expect some changes at the back, but much less than at the front. A few inches larger variant, the Encore GX, will have the same treatment as the regular one.
Buick manufacturer is very well-known for making very luxury cabin with durability materials. So, expect the 2023 Buick Encore to receive a mostly upscale cabin. Generally speaking, even the current model has an excellent interior, offering very supportive seats. The vehicle’s roomy cabin doesn’t impact shoulder room, and rear legroom offers the same space as before.
In general, you can still split and fold the rear bench in the customary 60/40 manner, opening the luggage area of 18.8 cubic feet. However, folding them down, the area will increase to 48.4 cubic feet. As standard, you’ll get a single-zone air conditioning, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth/simulated leather upholstery, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. The infotainment system measures 7-inch touchscreen and includes Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration as well.

The release of the new 2023 Buick Encore will likely happen next year, and many reports indicate that this model is the last version. So, the Buick Encore might be discontinued in the United States and Canada at the end of 2023. Meanwhile, we expect the upcoming variant to receive many upgrades over the previous model, including a much attractive exterior, more modern cabin, and better safety as well.
