The 2023 Buick Envision is an upcoming compact SUV that could reportedly go on sale later this year. Unfortunately, the new model will be carryover, so don’t expect anything significant at all. As far as we know, the manufacturer will mostly make some material update inside and add new headlights graphics.
There’s still one engine option under the hood, and the Envision is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit that’s capable of making 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. A 9-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (FWD) are standard setup, while all-wheel drive (AWD) comes as option on lower trims or standard on upper ones.
2023 Buick Envision Facelift
On the cosmetic side, the 2023 Buick Envision Silver is attractive and very compact SUV. The base model comes with a roofrails, which are standard, as well as the stylish 18-inch alloy wheels with a Light Charcoal Metallic finish.
We recommended going for a Sport Touring cosmetics package, which is now available on the two lower trims. This package adds on this SUV more bigger 20-inch alloy wheels, grille surround/mesh, mirror caps, and exhaust bezels with a dark finish.
What’s New Inside?
The interior of 2023 Buick Envision is classy and spacious. This SUV offers a rear legroom of 39.3 inches, while cargo space is not so accommodating. As far as we know, with 60/40 split rear seats in place, the Envision has 25.2 cubic feet for luggage. However, folding those seats down, language space will increase to 52.7 cubic.
Preferred trim levels is standard, and it includes parking sensors, keyless entry/ignition, single-zone air conditioning, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth/simulated leather seating surfaces, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a self-dimming rearview mirror. The base model also comes standard with a 8-inch touchscreen, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, Wi-Fi, satellite radio, Bluetooth, and six speakers.
Safety
There is no doubt, the Buick Envision is one of the safest SUVs on the road. This model is high rated thanks to a forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, following distance indicator, automatic high beams, and lane-keeping assistance.
2023 Buick Envision Engine Specs
As we said, the new 2023 Buick Envision will be available with the same engine as its predecessor. This means we can expect once again a potent turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit, which provides 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The mentioned engine comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and it uses front-wheel drive standard setup.
For true lovers, the manufacturer is also offering all-wheel drive (AWD) as an option. Considering that there is no upgrades in this department, the Buick Envision will probably be rated with EPA city/highway fuel economy: 24/31 mpg (FWD), 22/29 mpg (AWD).
2023 Buick Envision Price, Release Date
