The upcoming 2023 Chevrolet Blazer is the SUV that will standout from the rest of its rivals, thanks to its Camaro-inspired styling. This SUV competes with 2-row crossovers like the Ford Edge, Honda Passport, and Hyundai Santa Fe. For the 2023 year model, Chevy will make some changes, and the Blazer sports attractive styling and an even better interior.

So, if you’re looking attractive and tech-savvy SUV, the Blazer should be the right choice to consider. Like the outgoing model, the facelifted variant will be available with two engine options, a turbocharged inline-4 and a naturally aspirated DOHC V6.

2023 Chevrolet Blazer Redesign

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer shares many cues with the Camaro sports car. Basically, both models are identical, especially on the front end. It features muscular body lines and an aggressive grille with the same thin headlights as the Camaro. Moreover, the Blazer looks especially sporty if it wears RS trim, and there’s a 2-tone roof option that’s new. You can also get two new paint colors Nitro Yellow Metallic and Blue Glow Metallic.

As for the size, Chevy Equinox takes up less garage space than a bigger sibling 3-row crossover Chevy Traverse. In terms of size, the Blazer is in line with competitors like the Ford Edge and Nissan Murano.

What’s New for 2023?

On the inside, the forthcoming 2023 Chevrolet Blazer will be more luxurious than before. This SUV is spacious, and it’s slotted between the Equinox and the Traverse models. Moreover, the new 2-row midsize SUV offers more room than some of its compact crossover rivals. However, it’s not as roomy as bigger 3-row SUVs.

Back-seat headroom and cargo space are a little tight compared to the Ford Edge and Honda Passport. Anyway, you’ll get a pretty generous cargo of 64.2 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down. As standard, the Blazer comes with the 8-inch infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa.

2023 Chevrolet Blazer Engine Specs

Under the hood, the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer comes with two engine options. The standard model uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that can produce 227 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The next one comes optionally and is more powerful, thanks to a 3.6-liter V6 engine. This one makes 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.

Every Blazer has a standard smooth and quick-shifting 9-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (FWD). An all-wheel drive (AWD) is still optional. In addition, you can get a twin-clutch AWD system that’s exclusive to the RS model.

Release Date and Price

The release date of the new 2023 Chevrolet Blazer will happen next year, probably in the summertime. As mentioned, the Camaro-inspired SUV will look more modern, and we can expect many upgrades inside. The RS model should be available as well, and unlike the regular one, it will get some extra features.

The price will probably be slightly higher than the current Chevrolet Blazer that’s starting at $33,400. However, with all-wheel drive (AWD), the base Blazer cost $36,100. As for the sporty RS model, the Blazer is priced at $41,100 for the model with (FWD) and $44,000 (AWD).
