With its recent redesign, this model gains an excellent reputation as one of the biggest SUVs on the market. It has roomy 3-row seating, tons of cargo space, and is very technology-rich.

The current Chevrolet Suburban is entering its second year on showroom floors, and we expect the next generation to be a carryover model. In general, this model has fully refreshed two years ago, and the new SUV will mostly retain overall design as the current model.

However, as optional, buyers can get Navigation, wireless charging, two 12.6-inch rear touchscreens, and a 10-speaker audio system.

Under the hood, the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban will come with three engine options. The standard powertrain is a potent 5.3-liter V8 that makes 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Besides this engine, Chevrolet also offers a stronger 6.2-liter V8 engine, producing 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.

Lastly, a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel is available as well, but only as optional. This unit is rated at 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. All engines are connected with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive as standard. The four-wheel-drive remains to be optional.

Release Date and Price

After a turbulent week of new SUV models, the manufacturer confirms that redesigned variant of the Suburban is in the works. However, Chevy has not released any information regarding the release date of the Suburban. In general, based on previous years, we expect this model to happen in summer of the next year.

Without any significant changes and upgrades, pricing for the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban shouldn’t change that much. The current model starts at $52,995 and it can go up to $72,095 fully equipped. Models that are a potential threat to this SUV include the Ford Expedition Max, GMC Yukon XL, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Land Cruiser.
