The 2023 Chevy Tahoe is an upcoming full-size SUV that should be introduced later in the year with some improvements. This family SUV will look better than ever, especially inside. As we mentioned, the 2023 Chevy Tahoe is a full-size SUV that rides on the same platform that underpins models such as the Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Cadillac Escalade. Indeed it’s a large SUV that’s closely related to the Silverado. Depending on chosen trim level, the Tahoe design will vary. For example, you will get regular grille and 18-inch alloy wheels by selecting the base LS trim.

However, with the High Country version, the sizes of wheels go up to 22 inches. RST trim is the most favorite lineup member thanks to its black-finished exterior elements, including its wheels and grille. The Z71 is also available, and it adds a front skid plate that emphasizes its off-roading credentials.

Like the previous model, the new 2023 Chevy Tahoe will have the same roomy interior that can fit up to eight people. This SUV is a direct rival to the Ford ExpeditionNissan Armada, and Toyota Sequoia. Actually, it’s a class leader with 25.5 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Overall, comfort is guaranteed with this model, and you will truly enjoy every moment spent inside.

The new Tahoe will be available in six trims: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country. It all starts with an LS trim that includes a 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and 6-speaker audio system. However, choosing the most expensive trim, High Country, you’ll get a powered panoramic sunroof, power-retractable side steps, adaptive air suspension, and the Max Trailering package with extra cooling.

The new 2023 Chevy Tahoe will deploy the same engines as the larger Suburban model. This model comes with a 5.3-liter V8 gasoline engine that produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Besides this engine, the manufacturer will offer as well optional 6.2-liter V8 that comes choosing a topping High Country trim level. Unlike the first one, this unit produces an output of 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

Moreover, the last one powers Z71 trim, and it consists of a 3.0-liter turbodiesel Duramax, which develops 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. All three engines will, as we heard, use a new GM’s Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission and Rear-wheel-drive as standard. Of course, you can get a four-wheel drive optionally.

How Much Will the New 2023 Chevy Tahoe Cost?

The redesigned variant of the 2023 Chevy Tahoe will be reportedly introduced later in the year. As far as we know, its sales could start next year, probably in the second half.

Interestingly, the new model will arrive better than ever, featuring a spacious cabin, decent-sized touchscreen, and more standard equipment. However, considering all that, the price of the upcoming model should slightly increase. The current basic LS starts at $49,000, while the more luxurious high country is $70,000.
