The forthcoming 2023 Hyundai Palisade is on the way, and it will hit stores next year. While not a complete redesign, the new spy shots reveals that the popular Palisade will receive some mild exterior changes. From what we can see, the caught SUV is heavily camouflaged, featuring a revised grille inspired by the Tucson, slimmer headlights, as well as taillights. The front bumper is likely to get some redesigning as well, but we’ll have to wait for the final variant to confirm any changes.

As for the engine, we’re expecting Palisade to continue to use the same engine as the outgoing model. The current SUV uses a 3.8-liter V6 that generates 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque.

2023 Hyundai Palisade Changes

First of all, the caught model is heavily camouflaged, and we cannot clearly examine what changes are made below the wraps. From what we can see, the forthcoming 2023 Hyundai Palisade will be more handsome than before. In general, it will receive a small makeover at the front and rear.

We noticed that headlights and taillights appear to be slimmer than before, and the grille looks to be inspired by the latest Tucson. Roughly speaking, the Palisade features the same three-dimensional design with Hyundai’s Parametric Hidden Lights technology. Besides, we also expect the front bumper to receive minor redesigning as well.

What’s New Inside?

The facelift of the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will supposedly continue inside the cabin as well. So, we can expect some changes here and there, but nothing significant at all. From information that we got, we can count on the much bigger infotainment screen and digital gauge cluster.

The current Palisade’s range-topping trims already contain a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, so, we presume that the 2023 model will have at least a 12-inch touchscreen. We saw similar infotainment on the recently introduced Ioniq 5 model. Rumors also suspect that the new Palisade will likely share the same comfort as the one found in Genesis’s GV60.

2023 Hyundai Palisade Engine Specs

Under the hood, the new 2023 Hyundai Palisade will have the same engine type as its predecessor. For the U.S., the current model is powered by a naturally aspirates 3.8-liter V6 that is able to generate 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque.

This engine comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, sending power to either the front or all four wheels. Currently, there are many rumors suggesting the second engine as well. The closest outcome is a hybrid option that will join new electrified versions of the Tucson and Santa Fe.

Price, Release Date

At this point, we don’t have an exact price range for the new 2023 Hyundai Palisade. However, considering many updated features and a potential hybrid option, it’s reasonable to expect the next model to be a bit pricier than the previous one.

The current Hyundai Palisade starts at $34,375, and it can go up to $50k, fully loaded with options. Like before, the Palisade will continue to compete with the likes of the Ford Explorer, Toyota Highlander, and Kia Sorento.
