The new spy photos of the full-size 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L SUV have just emerged, and it looks similar to the Grand Cherokee L model. As for information that we got, the prototype was spied testing together with a regular Wagoneer. Thanks to that, we have first look at the size difference. For reference, the current regular Wagoneer measures 214.7 inches in length, but the Jeep Wagoneer L should be identical to stretched versions of the rivals like the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.
Considering its stretched platform compared to the original model, the new SUV will gain some extra space for the second and third rows, as well as better cargo. The regular Wagoneer has 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, which can be expanded to 70.9 cubic feet.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer L Design
We think the new 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L will likely keep the same elegant looks, just like the original model. As we reported, the new SUV has been caught testing camouflaged alongside the regular Grand Wagoneer. Both models are identical, with a boxy silhouette that’s available on classic Jeep models. Other welcome details include a classic 7-slot grille grill, trapezoidal wheel arches and twenty-inch wheelers.
According to the manufacturer, there will be many customizations, and you can also get a larger 22-inch wheels. As the regular model, the stretched versions come with the same LED headlamps and taillamps, plus the manufacturer added a steel side step and skid plates.
Unlike the regular Wagoneer, the new 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L will come with a more spacious interior. This model should accommodate seven or even eight passengers comfortable through three rows of seats. Also, we expect it to introduce a much better cargo as well. The current regular Wagoneer has 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, which can be expanded to 70.9 cubic feet.
In terms of design, the Wagoneer L won’t significantly depart from the original one. Jeep highlighted the interior with a Nappa leather upholstery and a one-piece dash with a digital instrument cluster. You can choose either a 10.1-inch or a 12.0-inch reconfigurable Uconnect 5 infotainment screen. Tom-Tom navigation is standard as well as the wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, along with a wireless smartphone charging pad and a WiFi hotspot.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer L Powertrain Specs
As the original version, the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L will most likely be powered by the same engine. The current powertrain lineup includes a 5.7-liter V8 powertrain that produces 392-hp and a more potent 6.4-liter V8 471-hp. Jeep is also reportedly preparing to introduce a new plug-in hybrid powertrain for the Wagoneer, though it will be available later.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer L Price, Release Date
The new 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L is a stretched version of the popular Wagoneer SUV. This SUV looks massive and is proportionally similar to the models such as the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.
