The upcoming 2023 Lexus LX 570 will be facelifted once more, and it could arrive next year along with the recently announced LX 600 model. However, many believe that the LX 600 might completely replace the LX 570 model, while some others are predicting the arrival of both models. Based on renderings, the next generation LX 570 will come with a more appealing look but still without significant changes.
As far as we can see, the upcoming SUV will gain a new front grille, more sharper styling, and probably some interventions inside as well. The most recent rumor suggests a new hybrid system as well alongside the aging aluminum-block 5.7-liter V8 powertrain.
2023 Lexus LX 570 Exterior
The 2023 Lexus LX 570 looks massive, but it isn’t as long as the Chevy Suburban or a Ford Expedition. However, it still takes up plenty of space in the garage. For 2023, the manufacturer will make some drastic changes on the front end, and Lexus spindle grille looks larger than ever before.
It also features smoked headlights and black 21-inch wheels. Basically, you can change the design quite a bit by adding an optional Sport Package that includes an updated grille, a revised front bumper, and attractive forged 21-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the 2023 Lexus LX 570 will likely get some subtle tweaks. The fine leather and attractive wood trim adorn the cabin of this model, just like the comfortable seats. Like before, you can choose this model as five- or eight-seater. The 5-seat model offers 53.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seat, while the 8-seater has only 16.3 cu ft of space behind it. However, folding the rear seats down, it opens 41.6 cu ft.
The new Lexus dominates inside with a dashboard that holds a large 12.3-inch screen that can be split into three separate sections. You can basically use navigation, audio, and the quad-zone automatic climate control at the same time. An optional Rear Seat Entertainment System is available, and it brings 11.6-inch screens, plus 2nd-row USB ports and auxiliary controls.
2023 Lexus LX 570 Powertrain Specs
At this moment, we don’t know yet what engine will power the 2023 Lexus LX 570. Based on many rumors, the next LX 570 could be powered by a new hybrid system, the same that’s powering RX 450h.
The current RX 450h and RX 450h L models are using a hybrid system producing up to 308 horsepower. So far, this SUV has used an aluminum-block 5.7-liter V8 producing 383 horsepower, along with a muscular 403 lb-ft of torque. The power from the engine is sent to a permanent all-wheel-drive system through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
2023 Lexus LX 570 Price, Release Date
The price of the new Lexus LX 570 will probably be slightly higher than the current $86,000. However, if the hybrid model happens, we expect it to cost at least $90,000. These prices put the LX-570 in the same line with the rivals Audi Q7, Cadillac Escalade, Infiniti QX80, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and Volvo XC90. The sales of the facelifted model will probably begin later in 2022 or at the beginning of the next one.
