If you’re looking for an SUV that has an upscale design, smooth ride, and well-equipped cabin, then the 2023 Lincoln Corsair is an ideal option to consider. This model shares its platform with the Ford Escape crossover, providing more benefits than any other luxury model from this manufacturer. Also, this SUV is a good choice for those seeking comfort and a very roomy cabin.

Like before, buyers will get an opportunity to choose either a turbocharged 2.0- or 2.3-liter four-cylinder. On top of that, a plug-in hybrid powertrain is also available but only with more expensive Grand Touring trim. In the same class, there are plenty of other models such as the Audi Q5, the BMW X3, and the Mercedes-Benz GLC-class. However, none of them offers something unique that the Corsair does.

2023 Lincoln Corsair Design

The new 2023 Lincoln Corsair has been recently spied testing wearing a more attractive design language than before. In general, this SUV is clearly inspired by the bigger 3-row Aviator, and that’s a pretty good thing. The compact crossover features clean lines and a classy light signature flowered by an attractive grille.

The look of this model changes a bit with the Sport Package, which brings more unique grille and wheels. One of the smallest luxury crossovers, this model is very close in size to the Cadillac XT4 and Lexus NX. Interestingly, it’s a bit smaller than the Acura RDX and Infiniti QX55.

Cabin Upgrades

The interior of the 2023 Lincoln Corsair is lovely and stylish SUV. The materials inside are excellent, and there are various color configurations available. Up front, the Corsair has plenty of headrooms and legroom to accommodate five passengers. On top of that, the back seats can slide up to 6 inches, which back-seat passengers will appreciate.

On the technology side, the new Corsair comes with the user-friendly SYNC 3 system and 8-inch screen. As standard, you’ll get Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. It also has a standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360, which includes blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, a backup camera, and automatic high beams.

2023 Lincoln Corsair Powertrain Options

The new 2023 Lincoln Corsair is powered by two turbocharged four-cylinder engines, the same used in the MKC. That means you can get either a 250-hp 2.0-liter or 280-hp 2.3-liter four. Both engines will use an eight-speed automatic transmission, and buyers can choose from either front- or all-wheel drive.

The plug-in-hybrid model is also available, and it consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor. Unlike other models, this one also comes with a CVT and all-wheel drive. By Lincoln’s claim, the PHEV model can run from 0 to 60 mph in 7.0 seconds.
