The all-new 2023 Mazda CX-80 has been confirmed, and we can expect it to debut next year. As far as we know, this model will be a 7-seater SUV, and it should share many cues with other CX models in the lineup. The more premium version of the existing CX-8, the CX-80, will reportedly increase luxury and style.
We also got information that it would ride on Mazda’s largest platform and that it should be available with a variety of 3.0-liter six-cylinder engines. So, we’re expecting the next-generation Blue Sky-X gasoline and diesel-powered engines and some of a mild-hybrid technology for improved fuel economy. Unfortunately, Mazda so far didn’t reveal any power figures.

As standard, this SUV will definitively offer at least infotainment setup of a 10.25-inch display, Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and six speakers. We also expect many standard safety systems as well. The current CX-8 include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
