The forthcoming 2023 Polestar 4 electric SUV has been finally teased ahead of its full reveal. As far as we know, the production of the new Swedish EV will start next year. Just like the announced Polestar 3 model, the new Polestar 4 will use the same underpinnings.
In general, we’re expecting the Polestar 4 to inherit all of the 3’s technologies, including the electric motor, and batteries. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t released any specs of the 4, but expect it to use two electric motors and an all-wheel drive. A large battery should be standard and expect at least 300 miles of range per charge.
2023 Polestar 4 Design
The design of the teased 2023 Polestar 4 looks way more attractive than the Polestar 3. This model is described as an “aerodynamic performance electric SUV,” which should be the third one that will join the companies growing segment of electric automobiles.
Although Polestar has only teased a single image of its flagship electric SUV, we noticed a sleek design, which is followed by a new streamlined roofline, prominent fenders, and large wheel arches. Overall, we cannot wait to see a fully revealed model.
Modern Interior
Inside, the 2023 Polestar 4 will feature a very modern and spacious cabin. In general, don’t expect to see the same roomy cabin that we saw on the latest XC90 model. However, the new Polestar 4 will share its platform with the upcoming replacement for the Volvo XC90, the Embla. We’re expecting the new Polestar 4 to offer enough legroom and headroom for up to five passengers in two rows.
The battery, which is placed under the floor, should not sacrifice space inside at all. On the technology side, the latest SUV will probably inherit many features from the smaller Polestar 3. This means buyers can expect a large infotainment system and probably a digital dashboard as well.
2023 Polestar 4 Motor Specs
Like the Polestar 3 model, the new 2023 Polestar 4 will use the same technologies. However, we expect it to boast dual-motor configurations, which is opposite to the Polestar 3 one motor. So, two electric motors will power the new SUV, providing all-wheel drive as standard.
A large battery will be under the floor, and according to many reports, it should provide at least 300 miles of range per charge. The same range are providing competitors such as the Jaguar I-Pace and BMW iX.
2023 Polestar 4 Price, Release Date
At the moment we don’t have any information about the pricing of the 2023 Polestar 4. According to some unofficial reports, the new electric SUV could start at $75,000 for a model with two motors. As we mentioned before, the Polestar 4 will be an all-new model that should use the same technologies, electric motors, and batteries, just as the smaller Polestar 3 model.
From the information that we got, the new SUV will go into production sometime next year as the 2023 model. With starting price above, the new SUV will gain competitors such as the Jaguar I-Pace and BMW iX ranging between about $71k and $84k,
