The new 2023 Subaru Outback will reportedly arrive next year, featuring refreshed look. The manufacturer will make radical changes, and the new Outback will come with a lifted suspension that provides better ground clearance, a much more cargo-friendly interior, and plenty of tech features. In general, this model looks more like the station wagon rather than the crossover.

As we know, Subaru will offer two engine options, and buyers can choose either a turbocharged or non-turbo four-cylinder engine. Both models will come standard with all-wheel drive, which is rare nowadays. The Outback will try to keep up with rivals like the Audi A4 Allroad and the Volvo V60 Cross Country.

More upscale features are available on upper trims like a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable front-passenger seat, and heated rear seats.

Under the hood, the 2023 Subaru Outback will feature a pair of flat-four-cylinder engines. The base model is a 182-hp 2.5-liter that is capable of producing 260-hp. However, you can also get a turbocharged 2.4-liter optionally. Both units come standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) that mimics an eight-speed gearbox.

On top of that, all Outbacks have standard all-wheel drive, which is excellent. According to the manufacturer, with the turbo version, this model can pull 3500 pounds, while the standard engine 2700.
