The upcoming 2024 GMC Yukon Denali prototype has been caught testing with refreshed styling. For those who may not know, the Denali trim is the most luxurious and most expensive in the Yukon’s lineup.
Unlike the base model, the Denali is loaded with better quality materials and with many advanced features. The range-topping trim for 2024 will get a more attractive front fascia that incorporates the same Vader treatment as the Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate. Just like the model before, the new one is powered by the same three engine options, including the 5.3-liter V8, 6.2-liter V8, and a turbocharged diesel engine.
2024 GMC Yukon Denali Design Changes
The first spy shots are available, and the 2024 GMC Yukon Denali looks better than ever. From what we saw, the new SUV is wearing a refreshed front fascia. Unlike the base model, the Denali trim comes with its own ornate grille design. Basically, the manufacturer added some chrome accents, which make this SUV more unique.
It is worth mentioning that every Yukon includes roof rails and exterior lighting with standard LED fog lights. The AT4 is also one of the favorite trims because it has a more advantageous approach thanks to its all-terrain tires and black grille.
Interior
At the moment, there are no available spy shots of the interior. The new 2024 GMC Yukon Denali, like previous models, will be available in regular and XL trim levels. The luggage area behind the rear seats is 25.5 cubic feet on the regular, while the XL excels at 41.5. Folding the third-row opens 72.6 or 93.8 cubic feet, respectively.
The second row, on the other hand, makes a maximum of 122.9 cubic feet or 144.7 in the XL. Most of the extras are available by choosing the Denali trim. With this model, you’ll get a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a rear camera mirror, and the Max Trailering bundle.
2024 GMC Yukon Denali Engine Specs
Under the hood, the 2024 GMC Yukon is powered by three different engine setups. A 5.3-liter V8 that’s running on 87-octane gasoline is the standard engine, which can make 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The AT4 is the optional trim that’s powered by a 6.2-liter V8 producing an output of 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
Lastly, there is an inline-6 diesel engine that creates 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft. Unlike the other engines mentioned above, the diesel one has a much better fuel economy rating. It is worth mentioning that a 10-speed automatic transmission is available on all models, offering smooth shifting duties. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while 4-wheel drive (4WD) is optional or standard when choosing the AT4.
How Much Will the 2024 GMC Yukon Denali Cost?
From the information that’s available, the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of the new 2024 GMC Yukon is $51,600 for the rear-drive SLE. Moreover, the extended-length XL is another $2,700 for any version. The range-topping Denali starts at $75,200, and it can go up to $82,600 fully loaded.
