The all-new 2024 Jeep Jeepster Bev was spotted two days ago in Portugal, revealing a very compact and attractive design. We must mention that this is not yet the officially named compact electric SUV. Anyway, Jeep’s first all-electric crossover will reportedly hit the market early next year, riding on a new eCMP/CMP platform. As far as we can see, the Jeep Jeepster will dimensionally sit between a Renegade and a Compass model.

While many details remain scarce at the time of writing, we have some information that is very important to Jeep fans. Here’s what we know so far about the new electric crossover SUV.

2024 Jeep Jeepster Design

The first impressions are positive, and the new 2024 Jeep Jeepster looks very attractive. As far as we can see, the captured SUV is wearing the recognized Jeep design language that we saw on the recently introduced Cherokee model. However, unlike the Cherokee, the new Jeepster measures less than 162 inches in length. For reference, the current Renegade is 166.6 inches long. Overall, the design is one of the best seen by this manufacturer.

The Jeepster has the traditional seven-slot grille that is now closed and the identical headlight shape as on the Grand Cherokee model. On the back, it looks very similar to the Renegade, with identical taillights but with better graphics.

Interior Rumors

The interior of the 2024 Jeep Jeepster is expected to be modern yet compact. According to the latest news, the forthcoming crossover will be a two-row seater, offering a very comfortable cabin for up to five passengers. Considering that this model sits between the Renegade and the Compass model, we don’t need to worry about cargo capacity at all.

We expect it to carry over some basic technology from other Jeep vehicles. Likely, the new SUV will come with the latest Uconnect 5 infotainment system. We also expect a large display, a digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, Wi-Fi, and more. As for safety features, this model will include forward-collision warning, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and more.

2024 Jeep Jeepster Motor Setup

At the moment, Jeep didn’t reveal any information regarding the engine of the 2024 Jeep Jeepster. From what we’ve been told, the new electric crossover will not ride on Stellantis’ STLA Small electric platform, but instead, it will be built on the second-generation eCMP/CMP platform. Generally speaking, we expect the Jeepster to be powered by a dual electric motor, offering all-wheel drive as standard. Thanks to this setup and the large battery, we presume that the range will be around 200 miles per charge. More information about the exact specs of this model will be available in the coming months.
