The all-new 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV has arrived, offering an amazing range of up to 590 kilometers (369 miles). Based on the latest information, the new SUV offers the option of rear-or all-wheel drive, and its power levels range from 288 horsepower to 536 horsepower.
It is worth noting that the EQE is the SUV counterpart to the EQE sedan that was unveiled in September of last year. Both cars have a lot of the same parts. By the year 2030, the company intends to have an electric lineup available for purchase in any area in which there is the necessary infrastructure to do so.
2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE Design, Dimensions
The EQE sedan has been transformed into the brand-new 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, which has increased ground clearance and a more attractive appearance. The new SUV comes with a stylish closed grille and eye-catching headlights. Interestingly, its wheelbase is 90 millimeters (3.5 inches) shorter than that of the EQE sedan, measuring in at 3030 millimeters (119 inches). Everything else about the SUV’s outward proportions is the same, with the exception of its height.
All-wheel-drive models include an “Off-Road” driving profile and an optional air suspension system. This basically allows the driver to add approximately an inch of ground clearance at the push of a button.
First Look Inside
On the inside, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE will dominate. The Mercedes Hyperscreen, which converts the whole dashboard into one touchscreen surface, is available. As standard equipment, there is a 12.8-inch touchscreen in the center that faces the driver and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Moreover, the displays use what Mercedes calls the Zero Layer, a novel logic. “It always keeps the most used apps at the top of the driver’s field of view, taking into account the situation and context.”
The navigation system, which helps plan your route to best take advantage of charging stations along the way, is another example of high-tech goods. There is the usual range of driver-assist technologies, and Eco Assist automatically adjusts the force of the regenerative brakes based on the flow of traffic around the car, making it easy to drive with just one pedal. Also, to keep the driver focused and relaxed, an “improved health and wellness system” changes the lighting, temperature, and “energizing natural” noises.
2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE Motor Specifications and Range
The EQE 350+ configuration, which is the base one, comes with rear-wheel-drive and with a single electric motor on the back axle. This model is capable of producing 288 horsepower. With a motor on each axle, an EQE 350 4MATIC vehicle will feature all-wheel drive (AWD). A motor on each axle of an AWD EQE 500 4MATIC produces a combined 536 horsepower. Moreover, the manufacturer also offers the AMG high-performance variant that produces an amazing output of 677 horsepower. The range of EQE will reportedly be up to 590 kilometers (369 miles).
Mercedes’ Dynamic Select driving mode system with comfort, sport, eco, and personalized individual settings is standard equipment on all EQE SUVs. It is also worth mentioning that the all-wheel drive model also includes an off-road setting.
Pricing and Availability
However, since electric vehicles are subject to a price limit of $80,000, it is difficult to say whether or not the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV would be advantageous. As for the debut, we can expect the new electric SUV to hit the market sometime in the second half of 2023.
