2022 Acura MDX

2022 Acura MDX

New 2022 Acura MDX is definitively the SUV that is worth waiting for. This premium model looks attractive, and it features one of the most comfortable cabins in its class. It comes in the form of a mid-size 3-row SUV, offering comfort for up to seven passengers. It also has a max cargo capacity of 95 cubic with all rows folded flat. On top of that, the ride is quiet, and the manufacturer used double-wishbone front suspension for precision cornering. As standard equipment, Acura MDX comes with a dashboard that hosts a beautiful 12.3-in HD infotainment system, multi-view rear camera, music, and navigation. Also, for 2022, the Integrated Dynamics System enhanced the handling as much wider 20-in alloy wheels. However, if this is not enough for you, then maybe models like A-Specs of Type S will satisfy your needs.

Under the hood, the upcoming 2022 Acura MDX uses a familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 290 horsepower. It also sends power to the front (or all four) wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles. Super-Handling All-wheel drive (SH-AWD) is optional on the base model and is standard on the A-Spec and Advance models. The new Acura MDX will arrive in the second half of the next year, starting at less than $50k.

2022 Volvo XC100

2022 Volvo XC100

Volvo is announced that it’s working on the new flagship model called XC100. The launch of this SUV will most likely happen next year. As per the latest news, the upcoming model will be a more significant replacement for the XC90. From Volvo’s statement, this SUV will be a direct rival to the models such as the BMW X7 and the Mercedes GLS. The manufacturer also said that it would be around 30cm longer than the current XC90 and even the BMW X7. Thanks to that, we should expect it to include more legroom in the second seating row and overall space in the third seating row.

However, Volvo didn’t reveal any information regarding the engine of the XC100. It’s more than likely the XC100 will feature a mixture of higher-end powertrains from the manufacturer’s lineup. So, expect the entry-level editions to use a high-powered petrol-based paired with a mild-hybrid set-up. Alternatives as both plug-in hybrid and pure-electric configurations are also in the game.

2023 Audi Q9

2023 Audi Q9

The full-size SUV, 2023 Audi Q9, is in the works. Basically, a few months ago, that rumors was confirmed by a few spy shots. Audi trademarks the name in early 2013, and until now, the Q9 has been rumored a couple of times. According to the first available images, the upcoming flagship model will be much bigger than the Q7 and Q8. The reason for such a move is a strong demand for premium full-size SUVs in the Middle East and the United States.

At first glance, the spied prototype features a gargantuan grille, as we saw on the recently introduces Q7 and Q8 models. The front fascia dominates, and it is easy to spot it. Also, compared to its siblings, the Q9 comes with more boxy LED taillights at the back. As for the interior, we should expect a massive infotainment system, digital dials, and even more premium materials than on any Audi model so far. Generally, Audi will try to tempt you away from the BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS. From some early reports, the Audis next flagship model will debut next year as the 2023 model.

2022 Honda Pilot front

2022 Honda Pilot

The bigger and bolder 3-row SUV, 2022 Honda Pilot, is on the way. Judging from the latest spy shots, the redesigned Pilot will come with a more rugged design than the outgoing version. First of all, it influences the same design language as the updated Ridgeline pickup truck. Although it’s nowhere near as popular as the CR-V, the Honda Pilot is still an important member of the manufacturer’s lineup.

According to Honda, the next generation is proportionally similar to those of the redesigned 2022 Acura MDX. Generally, both models share the same platform, which is now more rigid than the one it replaces. Compared to the newest MDX that offers extra 2.8 inches of length in its wheelbase, it’s more than likely that the same will happens with the redesigned Pilot’s wheelbase. This should translate more comfort inside and easier access to the third row. Power should once again come from a 3.5-liter V-6 capable of producing 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. The engine is hooked to a 10-speed automatic using front wheels as standard. However, you can count on the all-wheel drive as well, but only as optional. A redesigned Pilot is expected to debut later this year as a 2022 model.

2022 Infiniti QX60

2022 Infiniti QX60

New teaser image of the upcoming 2022 Infiniti QX60 emerged recently on the web. Unlike its bigger brother QX80, the forthcoming QX60 will introduce some mild upgrades. From the information that is available on many websites, this SUV will also gain some mechanical upgrades. For 2022, the highlights include an all-wheel-drive system that is included as standard. In terms of exterior styling, the new Infiniti QX60 will look a lot like the recently showed QX60 Monograph Prototype. The front fascia is the most attractive, featuring skinny headlights and a large mesh grille. The rear of the SUV is also refreshed, and as the concept model, it has full-width taillights and the same exhaust system.

However, like its predecessor, the new generation deploys the reliable 3.5-liter V6 that makes 295 horsepower (216 kilowatts). Generally, the most noticeable improvement compared to the outgoing model is a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds (2,721 kilograms), which is a 20-percent increase. Infinity didn’t reveal when we can expect this model to hit markets, but multiple rumors suggest that its premiere might happen at the end of the year.
